Re-Fer

Description
In the course of a renovation project at a renowned television station, the bending resistance of a reinforced concrete slab in an underground car park had to be increased. The re-plate variant was selected due to the quick application, the simple prestress and the low-cost fire protection with a low layer thickness. 16 re-plates with a length of 6.5 m were fastened to the bottom surface of the 30 cm thick reinforced concrete slab by means of direct fastening (nails) and then activated with a gas burner. As fire protection with regard to resistance class R90, a plaster film SikaCem^® Pyrocoat Base was applied first, followed by the sprayed fire protection mortar SikaCem^® Pyrocoat with a maximum layer thickness of 25 mm.
