Re-Fer

Description
Due to many openings in a concrete slab on the GVRZ site, the construction had to be reinforced for bending. A solution with a re-bar 16 bar in Sika MonoTop-412 N spray mortar was chosen. The underside of the concrete slab was roughened hydromechanically and then the bars were placed. The ends of the bars were anchored in the slab and in the sprayed mortar. After curing, the activation of the prestressing was carried out by gas flame. In the last step, the free length between the anchoring areas was also covered with cementitious sprayed mortar. The re-bar reinforcement is a simple and very efficient reinforcement method with prestressing for concrete slabs.
