Project description
As part of a renovation project, new column supports were installed in the basement of the Kasinopark. In order to compensate for the missing upper tensile and punching reinforcement, prestressed memory steel strips were applied to the concrete ceiling on the top side. After activation, they were coated with a primer and embedded in the grouting mortar.

The memory steel strips re-plate were fixed to the structure with a Hilti end anchorage and heated with re-fer infrared heater re-IR 3000 to activate the prestressing.
