Re-Fer

Description
In the course of modifications and new loads, a ceiling slab had to be strengthened. The slab is supported by rows of columns and shows static deficits. Sika^® CarboDur^® S1012 lammelas were installed on the underside of the slab to increase the structural safety. Above the columns, the negative bending moment had to be covered with re-bar 10 bars. For this purpose, the concrete was locally removed and roughened. The re-bar in the new mortar layer (Sika MonoTop^®-452 N) were activated and prestressed by electrical resistive heating. Finally, the areas of the electrical connectors were poured.
