Re-Fer

Description
As part of a complete renovation of the retirement home, among other things, seismic and flexural reinforcements were carried out. The work was completed while the facility remained operational.

Application description

To cover the positive bending moments (service and fire loads), re-plate 120/1.5 strips were applied and prestressed. Additional bending moments for the ultimate limit state of load-bearing capacity were covered with CFRP strips Sika^® CarboDur^® S1012. Fire protection was achieved with SikaCem^® Pyrocoat.
