Seismic strengthening of a reinforced concrete slab in a shopping center in Sursee

Description
In the framework of a seismic strengthening re-plates were installed for a monolithic connection between two slab parts. Prior tot he strengthening, the dilatation joint is filled with a cementitious grout. The fast and flexible installation as well as the limited need for space were some oft he reasons for the choice to apply re-plates.

In total, approximately 800 re-plates with a length of 1.5 m were installed and activated.
